Communion Hymn by Kilby Austin

from Zechariah 12:10

Lord, we have looked on You whom we have pierced
and taken up Your flesh again by faith;
now let repentance make our hearts to mourn
that we have, by our sins, put You to death.

Your blood out-poured for us we have beheld,
and we by faith have tasted it today;
now make our tears to flow as did Your blood,
and teach our hearts for godly grief to pray.

Then, in our sorrow for the sin You bore,
we shall rejoice to see Your promise sealed
by these Your suff’rings and Your sacrifice:
as You from wounds, we shall from sin be healed.
